Payment Policy
At Little Cub Care, we aim to keep all billing clear, consistent, and fair for families while ensuring reliable scheduling and confirmed childcare coverage.
1. Booking Deposit
- A booking deposit is required to secure all childcare requests.
- This deposit confirms the requested dates and reserves a qualified caregiver.
- The booking deposit is applied toward the total weekly childcare cost and is not an additional fee.
2. Weekly Payment Structure
- All childcare services are billed on a weekly basis.
- Families will receive a full weekly breakdown before care begins, including:
- Scheduled care hours
- Total weekly rate
- Booking deposit credit
- Remaining balance due
3. Payment Due Dates
- Booking deposits are due at the time of booking confirmation (or at least 7 days before the scheduled week of care).
- Remaining weekly balances are due no later than 3 days before the start of the scheduled week.
- Care services should not begin until the weekly balance is fully confirmed and scheduled.
4. Payment Timing Policy
- Payments are generally required before services are provided.
- Post-service payment is not typically accepted to ensure caregiver scheduling is secured and families have guaranteed coverage.
- Exceptions may be made for returning or approved families at management discretion.
5. Cancellations & Adjustments
- Families may cancel or adjust individual days within a scheduled week depending on notice and availability.
- Canceled bookings should be reflected in the system with:
- Clear status labeling (“Canceled”)
- Visual indication (crossed-out dates)
- Any eligible adjustments should be reflected in the weekly balance.
6. Transparency
The family portal should clearly display:
- Active bookings
- Booking deposits paid
- Remaining weekly balances
- Payment due dates
- Any canceled bookings
7. Policy Updates
The company reserves the right to update this policy as needed. Families will be notified of any major changes in advance.
